How can I use Shiftr together with the MQTT module?

First, install the MQTT module to enable MQTT support.

Noodl uses websockets for MQTT, not raw TCP connections, so the URLs that Shiftr gives you need to be modified slightly:

If you’re running Shiftr locally use port 1184: mqtt://localhost:1884:

For the cloud version use, make sure you connect via mqtts: mqtts://[username]:[token]@cloud.shiftr.io

Bonus details:
mqtt:// will actually resolve to ws:// under the hood, and mqtts:// to wss://, since browser don’t support raw TCP connections due to security concerns. Luckily, as can be seen above, Shiftr support websockets.
